About this video: In this video, I will show you everything you need to do in order to install custom maps on your Mac with running Minecraft 1.11. During the video, I will walk though and explain every step you need to take to install custom maps in your Minecraft 1.11 game in order to add new maps to your Minecraft saves folder. This will allow you to install maps online and put them into your Minecraft 1.11 game on your Mac. This video will show you how you can download and install parkour maps, adventure maps, and other types of custom Minecraft 1.11 maps on your Mac.
When you find a new Minecraft 1.11 custom map that you would like to install on your Mac, all you need to do is download the Minecraft 1.11 custom map for your Mac, and then you will need to drag the new Minecraft 1.11 custom map to your desktop. After you drag the Minecraft 1.11 custom map to your desktop, you will need to hit CMD+SHIFT+G on your Mac’s keyboard in order to bring up the “Go To” window. This is how you will get to your Application Support folder, which houses your Minecraft saves folder on your Mac.
After you open the saves folder on your Mac, simply drag and drop the Minecraft 1.11 Custom Map to the Saves folder on your Mac. After that, go to your Applications folder on your Mac and open Minecraft 1.11 to test out your new custom map in Minecraft 1.11 on a Mac.
